As Chairman & CEO Ian Grant-Smith is responsible for the Executive Board, Company Strategy and Overall Operational performance of BAP Global Solutions. BAP was built on the basis of Ian’s vision and promise to the market which is now emerging to have strategically positioned solutions which reach as many people possible.
Ian is experienced in management consulting, enterprise software implementation and product development with over 18 years of experience working on mainly global client engagements. His former years of consulting where with Ernst & Young and Deloitte. He has held several executive positions in consulting at an International Level and worked in all four major world regions.
He has strong skills as an executive and can function at all levels both at executive management, operational and client service level. Ian has the understanding of running a consulting practice at an international level and has experienced the integration challenges of building a multi-national consulting practice. Ian understands the dynamics of working as an Executive at an international level in a major International Software Company.
Ian has selected a talented management team and diverse Executive Board under his leadership to achieve the results expected by the market. He was the Director for Professional Services for SAP and formed part of a management team responsible for profit and loss across of 1.4 billion euro in the EMEA region, which is comprised of 23 countries and approximately 4,400 consultants.
He has broad knowledge across multiple industries taking business requirements and applying business solutions. Ian received a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from University of South Africa and completed the Management Advancement Programme at WITS Business School. |
