Dr. Huseyin Seker is a Senior Lecturer of Bio-Health Informatics Research in the Division of Computer Engineering within the School of Computing of De Montfort University in the UK and a member of the Centre for Computational Intelligence.
His main research interests lie in computational intelligence in bio & health informatics and computational biology. He is particularly working on hybrid and multi neuro-fuzzy expert systems. Huseyin has published papers in various conferences and journals. He is also a recipient of an international paper award from IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, which is the largest of its kind. He also coordinates Bio-Health Informatics Research Team within the CCI.
He teaches modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is also one of the course co-coordinators of MSc Bioinformatics and manages MSc Bioinformatics summer projects.
